NGC Recycle Sculpture Chair
The Recycled Sculpture Contest encourages students to explore creativity while learning about environmental responsibility. Inspired by the three R’s — Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle — students are challenged to give discarded materials new life by transforming them into creative works of art.
▹ All students in grades 4–8 are eligible to enter with the sponsorship of a local garden club
▹ Sculptures must consist primarily of recycled, reused, or repurposed materials.
▹ The base may not be any larger than a standard piece of 8.5" x 11” paper.
▹ Make sure the Entry Form is completely filled out. The form will ask for a brief description of the sculpture and list of materials used.
▹ Entries should include two 4” x 6” photos (glossy recommended) attached to the entry form.
▹ Club entries must be sent to your state chair by your state’s deadline.
▹ State chairs submit the winning entry from each grade to the region chair for further competition.
▹ Regional winner’s deadline to NGC chair by March 1
