1 Full Page Ad Dimensions (8.5 x 11 sheet):

A standard full-page edge-to-edge ad for an 8.5 x 11-inch document is 8.5"W x 11"H but we suggest adding a bleed of 0.5" on all sides (making it 9" x 11.5") to ensure design color extends to the edge after printing. The live area (safe zone for text and graphics) is 6.85"W x 9.3"H.

Key 8.5" x 11" Ad Dimensions (Full Page):

  • Trim Size: 8.5" x 11" (Final document size)
  • Bleed Size: 9" x 11.5" (Ensures color/images go to the edge)
  • Live/Safe Area: 6.85"W x 9.3"H (Keep text, graphics, and logos inside this area to avoid being cut off)
  • Resolution: Minimum 300 DPI or PPI is required for print quality

Other Sizes on 8.5" x 11" Page:

  • Half Page (Horizontal): 7.5" × 5.0"

  • Quarter Page: 3.7" x 5.0"

½ (Half) Page Ad Dimensions (8.5 x 11 sheet):

A ½ page ad for an 8.5 x 11-inch document is 7.5”W x 5.0”H using horizontal placement. There will be a solid color or white background to tie both halves together.

TNG ½ Page Ad Dimensions:

  • Horizontal: 7.5"W × 5.0"H

Recommendations

  • Margins: Keep text and important content at least 0.25” - 0.50" away from the trim edge.
  • Resolution: Minimum of 300 DPI is required for print quality.

¼ (Quarter) Page Ad Dimensions (8.5 x 11 sheet):

A standard ¼ page ad for an 8.5 x 11-inch document measures 3.7"W by 5.0"H. This allows for a precise 4-up layout (dividing the page into four equal quadrants.  There will be a solid color or white background to tie all 4 quadrants together.

TNG ¼ Page Ad Dimensions

  • Vertical: 3.7"W x 5.0"H

Key Considerations

  • Live Area: Keep text and important content at least 0.25” away from the trim edge.
