NGC Awards Workshops- Join the July 23 Zoom Event!

by Melinda Sigal, Awards Committee
July 22, 2021

Individual members, clubs, groups of clubs, states and regions all work together to promote the love of gardening, floral design, and civic and environmental responsibility, fulfilling the mission of National Garden Clubs, Inc. The NGC Awards Program recognizes the time, effort, and resources expended by each throughout the year. We hope that you will take a bit of time along the way to submit awards applications for the many good works you accomplish so that you can be recognized and provide inspiration to others. To that end, the NGC Awards Committee is offering Zoom webinars to hear more about the awards program, including a step-by-step guided tour of the NGC awards site on the NGC website.

Come and learn what is new in the 2021-2023 awards program including how to use the simplified, easy to use award categories and award size groups and certificates. You can either join your Region’s meeting or another Region’s meeting, which ever suites your schedule. Be sure to invite all interested NGC garden club members to participate. For more information visit the NGC awards page (bottom of page under Resources “Questions/More Information Contact,” then click on e-mail to ask for link, or IM Melinda Sigal on Facebook, or e-mail Marilyn McDonnell.

The webinar schedule is as follows: On Friday, July 23, the New England Region is 10:00 am to noon, and the Central Region is 2 to 4:00 pm. On Thursday, July 29, the Central Atlantic Region is 10:00 am to noon and the Rocky Mountain Region is from 3 to 5:00 pm.
