Green the Gulf Coast Grants
Green the Gulf Coast Grants are available for landscaping projects in public areas to member states, districts and clubs affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
General Information and Eligibility Requirements
ELIGIBLE - Member states, districts and clubs affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in the states of Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas
PROJECT - Landscaping in public areas with emphasis on live plant material
AMOUNT - To be determined by scope of project with a $2,000 limit on each project
General Information
- Grant money may not be passed through to another organization; however, members are encouraged to network with other organizations or their local government.
- Costs for administrative fees are not eligible expenses, however, reasonable fees for landscape design plans and labor costs may be included.
- Overall scope of project in relation to number of membes will be considered in judging.
- Include photos of project site and estimated budget of income and expenses.
